I still haven’t gotten around to it because I realized it’s an “ever mutating evil unicorn” and no two setups will ever be the same. Most likely if I write something it will not work with some custom thing someone has set up and just cause them more trouble.

What I do recommend however, is just going step by step and initially starting with just having webpack combine global script files without parsing them. Then slowly getting each component to build as a module.
